About Me
I'm Heather Katz, Ph.D., and I love group exercise! I have years of experience teaching adapted physical education and group exercise in various settings. I have a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, with my dissertation focused on perceptions of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities towards group exercise. I've been teaching group exercise for over ten years. During that time, I developed an adapted dance fitness format that's been implemented in-person and virtually, as well as a training for group exercise instructors to provide them with the necessary knowledge and resources to include people with disabilities in their classes.

I'm passionate about making group exercise accessible, safe, and fun for anyone who wants to participate! I'm here to help instructors not only feel comfortable, but excited about teaching adapted or inclusive classes. Schedule a free consultation session with me today to get started!
